Roots is a Canadian clothing company founded in 1973 that sells a variety of clothing, sportswear, accessories and homewares for men, women and children. Roots has stated a commitment to ethical manufacturing practices and primarily manufactures their clothes domestically in Canada as well as in the US, South America, and countries along Southeast Asia such as China, India and Bangladesh.

I would challenge Roots to reveal what percentage of clothing is manufactured in Canada and U.S. on a recent visit to a Canadian store I was unable to find anything that was manufactured in either Canada or the U.S.
Since the 1970s the quality of products has continuously decreased while prices have increased. I would not consider this brand to be high end but rather on par with Forever 21
