Eddie Bauer is a US-based clothing store chain founded in 1920 that features active outdoor clothing as well as casual everyday styles. Their clothes are primarily manufactured offshores in countries such as China, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia, and the company has been accused by its workers of poor, “sweatshop-like” working conditions.

I am so disappointed to read this. I have a cart full of clothing for the upcoming summer months I intended to purchase and now I think I will just move on and find clothing made in the US. Thanks for the info! It was not easy to find info on the origin of these products, especially clothes, because I assume these places don’t want this fact to be common knowledge. If I cant find made in USA clothing, I will certainly not pay the prices stores such as Eddie Bauer are asking, I will buy much cheaper Target brands. Its all made in the same place, right? SO disappointing.

Support your country by buying U.S.Manufactured,support your U.S. manufacturing base by building the very best product.Put those two together and sales of goods will happen.
