Forever 21 is an American fashion company founded in 1984 and features trendy fashions and styles aimed at teenage girls. Forever 21 has faced controversy, criticism, and lawsuits for their unethical labor practices such as poor factory conditions and wages for workers. Their clothes are primarily manufactured domestically in California as well as offshores in China. A 2007 documentary titled “Made in L.A.” was produced detailing the stories of three workers who faced unfair conditions working for Forever 21.
